2025 Strategic Direction
Many families and organizations enter this year facing uncertainty about how day-to-day state and federal policy developments will affect their stability and well-being. Amid these changes, we remain dedicated to our mission and focus on basic needs and safety net services, especially for the children and families who are most impacted. Our role as a steadfast funding partner to the nonprofits trusted by the community will continue through multi-year general operating support grants. We also recognize the importance of being responsive to the moment by listening and adapting as we prioritize additional support for capacity building.
Past Years' Reports
Over the last year, our average grant amount continued to trend back up as we finalized a two-year process of deploying grant increases on the heels of responsive grantmaking during the pandemic. Further, a record 92% of grant dollars were multi-year, reflecting our long-term approach for core grantee partners and their commitment to the community. We also began reimagining the approach with our Strategic Opportunities portfolio with an eye toward more flexibly integrating some of our exploratory grantmaking across our work.
We marked our 10th anniversary as a funder with deep gratitude for all of our nonprofit partners and their unwavering dedication to children and families across the region.
